Zendesk will perform critical maintenance on the WhatsApp Business API Clients hosted on the EU platform.

Customers Affected: All customers using a WhatsApp number

Affected products: WhatsApp messages within Sunshine Conversations and Support

Expected behavior: During this maintenance window, customers may experience a brief period of WhatsApp message delay lasting less than 5 minutes. Please note the rest of the Sunshine Conversations platform will remain unaffected and no service interruption will occur on any other parts of the platform.

When the upgrade of each API client is complete, WhatsApp message delivery will be fully restored, no messages will be lost, and no action will be required on your part.

Why we're doing this: We will be upgrading all API clients from version 2.31.4, expiring April 18, 2021, to 2.33.4, which is the current stable release recommended by WhatsApp.
